The KCI Tax Server^TM is an object oriented software application developed by Koehler Consulting, Inc. The KCI Tax Server solves the very complicated systems problem of providing automated tax compliance in a reusable software component. Along with the reusable Tax Server service, advanced architectural and design techniques enable less complex integration with existing systems.

 Support for Internal Revenue Code 7702, 7702A, 72(e), and 1035 including:

 TAMRA: Modified Endowment Contract (MEC) testing, Seven pay / 7-Pay testing, Benefit reduction testing, Material change testing, Necessary premium testing, Grandfather testing, Two year lookback, etc.

 DEFRA (definition of life insurance), Cash value accumulation test (CVAT), Guideline premium testing, recapture ceiling

 Cost basis updating, taxable gain determination, 1099 generation

 Federal withholding computation

 Supports traditional (single & survivorship), universal, variable, variable/universal life products and riders
